BE Change Support Continues in Rural Bihar

The most recent wave of COVID-19 infections in India has made headlines around the world, and BE Change continues to stand by our partner schools to support young children in rural Bihar. Our partner Prema Metta recently used BE Change funding, which normally supports the school’s meal program, to make another distribution of nutritious food and supplies to its students and their families at home as lockdowns continue.

Prema Metta staff prepared the packages with the help of local volunteers, including Prema Metta graduates. Students received rice, lentils, salt, cooking oil, potatoes and soap. These essentials will help supplement family meals while lockdowns continue.
